Into the Water!

I admit that my last couple posts were made out of chronological order, and there's no other reason for that other than my excitement to share all those pictures. However I feel it would be a disservice in chronicling our boating adventure to not go back and share these pictures of our lil guy going in the water.

Brian enlisted the same helpful sailing enthusiast who helped hoise the mast to back the boat into the water.

So majestic.

Side note, there was a brief discussion and much internal panic on my part when we thought it would be necessary for me to sew a sail cover. Fortunately we found one in the bags of mystery gear that came with the boat, and my little quilting machine will not be sacrificed to the lake gods.

Note the absence of other boats on the water, we were apparently the most excited people at the sailing association this year.
